Tiraspol, 22 March. /Novosti Pridnestrvya/. President Yevgeny Shevchuk received Pridnestrovie's Acting Foreign Minister. Vitaly Ignatyev reported to the Head of state on the results of an official visit to the capital of the Russian Federation.
In Moscow, the head of the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Ministry held a number of meetings in the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation, the office of the Russian Deputy Prime Minister — Russian President's Envoy for Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin. He also met with the colleagues from the State Duma and the Federation Council. The main topic of all held meetings is the current social and economic situation in Pridnestrovie, the state authorities' efforts on minimization of economic crisis influence on all spheres of the republic's activity. It was also talked about the restriction measures against the foreign economic activity of the Pridnestrovie's enterprises by the neighboring states and other forms of complex external pressure on the republic.
As the Presidential Press Office reports, within a working meeting Vitaly Ignatyev informed the President Yevgeny Shevchuk on the results of the meeting between the political agents from Pridnestrovie and Moldova on the 18th of March of this year.
«Unfortunately, the Moldavan side continues imitating a constructive dialogue. At the same time, it behaves destructively from the standpoint of collaborative efforts. So, we didn't draw confirmation about the organization of meetings between any of expert (working) groups. However, these working meetings serve to facilitate a solution to the acute issues for creation of confidence climate and economic and social situation improvement for our citizens. We expect adequate reciprocal steps from the Moldavian side, — Vitaly Ignatyev has emphasized. — We also expect reaction of the Moldavan experts exploring a number of projects and proposals of the Pridnestrovian experts in the motor transportation and railway communication perspective. We hope that the Moldavan experts won't drag on their exploration and analysis».
Also, the Acting Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatyev informed the Head of state on the results of the first fact-finding visit to Pridnestrovie of the Ukrainian envoy for the negotiation process, the Ambassador-at-Large Valery Zhovtenko.
