Tiraspol, 18 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A meeting of expert working groups on healthcare met today at Tiraspol's OSCE Mission office. At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on a number of pressing healthcare issues in Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova, the MFA press service reports.
In particular, experts discussed methods of combating socially dangerous infectious diseases, as well as further prospects for the development of perinatal medicine and immunisation.
The Pridnestrovian side reported a number of positive developments that have occurred in the healthcare sector over the past two years and outlined prospects for the development of priority medical areas.
Moldova's experts, in turn, shared their view on the optimisation and development of the Moldovan healthcare system.
The sides agreed to continue the discussion of public healthcare urgent issues.
