Tiraspol, 17 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Association of Pridnestrovian deputies of all levels tentatively entitled «For Unity with Russia» is at the development stage, however it has already got support of the Russian colleagues.
Russian State Duma Deputy Kazbek Taysayev notes that establishment of such all-Pridnestrovian association of people's deputies is a good idea. While Pridnestrovie and Russia are in difficult economic and political conditions now, it can help Tiraspol and Moscow to forge closer and substantive cooperation.
«We establish informal, non-governmental organization. I see it as a breakthrough of the deputies. There are different tasks before them. Issues of a local Soviet differ from issues considered by the Pridnestrovie's MPs that's why it is both worthwhile and important that the deputies of different levels unite. There is nothing over and above what is needed," Kazbek Taysayev told.
It is to be recalled that on March 15 the group of Pridnestrovian deputies of various levels signed a declaration on establishment of the association «For Unity with Russia». According to the document, the organization plans to promote implementation of referendum-2006 results, to carry out active harmonization of the Pridnestrovian and Russian legislation, to promote economic integration of Pridnestrovie and Russia.
«This association isn't created against someone, it is created according to a concrete idea — unity with the Russian Federation. This association isn't created for any political actor, party or for the sake of elections. We were elected several months ago, we are going to work all 5 years, so we are planning to broaden, deepen and make these contacts more productive through our association over all 5 years," the MP Oleg Horzhan noted.
Initiative group of the people's deputies who have signed the declaration on establishment of the association «For Unity with Russia» suggested all Pridnestrovian deputies to join the new organization. It is planned to hold an all-republican meeting of the association «For Unity with Russia».
