Tiraspol, 9 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Moldova Sambo Championship was held in Chisinau on March 5.
More than one hundred athletes from Chisinau, Soroki, Bălți and Comrat took part in the competitions. Fighters from Tiraspol also won the lead: Nikolay Cheban, Roman Voloshchuk, Maxim Barbalat and Vadim Chorbadzhi.
As the press service of the Sport State Service reports, Pridnestrovian athletes won 2 medals in weight category of +87 kg.
Nikolay Cheban won the final duel against the Bălți resident Vlad Samalyuk and received the gold; Maxim Barbalat became the bronze prize-winner.
