ANO Eurasian Integration director: cooperation with Pridnstrovie yields good results

This is what Alexander Argunov said during a meeting with the PSU rector

Tiraspol, 1 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The director of ANO Eurasian Integration, Alexander Argunov, met the rector of Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University (PSU), Galina Sandutsa, during his working visit to Pridnestrovie. The parties have discussed prospects for further cooperation.

«We started our work in Pridnestrovie by providing assistance to PSU and will be continuing to provide it We like it very much as such cooperation yields good results. Training future doctors and engineers is always very important in perspective," Alexander Argunov commented on meeting results.

He underscored that the participation of Eurasian Integration in the celebration of the 25th anniversary of PSU's medical department was discussed today, which is to take place at the end of April.

«We can help invite many interesting and significant guests from the Russian Federation, who are related to medicine and who could tell many interesting things to students," said Argunvov.

He also confirmed the fact that drawing up documents for conveying a medical department building to the university was over, reports the press service of ANO Eurasian Integration.

«Although the building has already been brought into service, and students are already taught there, we have officially completed this procedure," said the ANO director.

The PSU rector, Galina Sandutsa, noted that meeting ANO representatives is a good tradition for the university. According to her, the university has extensive plans for the development of higher education in Pridnestrovie.

«We'd like to launch an engineering module as our next project that would concentrate specialists in physics, engineering, agriculture, which will allow us to enhance the quality of training in these areas," she explained, speaking about further prospects for cooperation between PSU and ANO Eurasian Integration.

Since 2013 ANO Eurasian Integration has built and commissioned five new pre-school facilities in Tirapol, Bendery, Rybnitsa, Sukleya village, as well as the building of the PSU medical department and a concrete mixing plant. It has also purchased eight up-to-date mobile ICUs and four trolleybuses. Seven more objects are under construction now: Republican Tuberculosis Hospital in Bendery, an anti-TB hospital and a secondary school in Rybnitsa, a paediatric hospital, chemotherapy building and a perinatal centre in Tiraspol, a secondary school in Tashlyk village. All facilities are completely equipped with furniture and necessary equipment. The programme includes the implementation of socially important projects in healthcare, pre-school upbringing, secondary and higher education. The implementation of the programme is supervised by Russia's presidential envoy on Pridnestrovie, deputy prime minister, Dmitriy Rogozin.
