Tiraspol, 16 February. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Moldova and Pridnestrovie should intensify the dialogue. It was declared by the Special Envoy of the Acting OSCE Chairman-in-Office Meier-Klodt and the head of the Pridnestrovie’s foreign policy department Vitaly Ignatyev following the results of the meeting in the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Affairs Ministry.
«Along the lines that I've just outlined, there are some important questions which need to be dealt with at the expert level to create positive momentum, I would call it, small or not so small success stories that can trigger a new positive momentum. On that basis I want to unite all other partners of the (ed. — negotiation) process to come to prepare, at the earliest convinience, the meeting in the 5+2 format," the German diplomat declared.
In turn, Vitaly Ignatyev emphasized that Pridnestrovie is ready to intensify negotiation process at all levels, however the Pridnestrovian diplomat had some doubts in determination of the Moldavan side to resume a meaningful dialogue in a number of unresolved as well as simulated problems.
«We hope our Moldavan partners to intensify their participation, because there is a serious lack of development in many directions. It also concerns expert (working) groups in some pressing issues, that is motor transport perspective, the issues concerning the problem of politically charged trials," Vitaly Ignatyev noted.
«All these issues, certainly, require participation because a dialogue is a communication between two sides, and despite the fact that Pridnestrovie is ready for a comprehensive work, we don't see such readiness at our partners," the diplomat summarized.
