According to the President, the republic has never faced such long instability of political life in Moldova. «It is outrageous that five prime ministers have been replaced in four years, including the change of the whole teams. This situation requires high professionalism of the MFA staff," the Head of state told.
The situation in Ukraine during the last two years couldn't but affected negotiation environment also. «The neighbor and the guarantor state with which we have more than 400-km border, with which we are linked by historically, economically and by transport corridors… For the first time, we face an issue when the Ukrainan representative in the 5+2 negotiation format hasn't been appointed for a long period of time. Now, the situation has changed, and I hope that we will have additional discussions on all scope of new problems in the Pridnestrovian-Ukrainian direction," Yevgeny Shevchuk emphasized.
The President also noted that the diplomatic activity presents great difficulties and barriers. For example, the situation when the officials of the Foreign Ministry are provocatively forced to undress at the Kishinev airport when going through customs control. «It is a factor of intentional psychological pressure, perhaps, to force to cooperation or to refuse from functional responsibilities. And all Pridnestrovie's ministers fall under this unfair, prejudiced, politized procedure at the Kishinev airport, while it is actually forbidden by the main provisions of the Declaration of Human Rights," the Head of state noted and added that this pressure was ramped up, but the officials of the Foreign Ministry go through this period with credit.
«The Pridnestrovie's Foreign Ministry has become more effective. At the same time, it is very important for us when the ministries save the state resources without reducing efficiency," the Head of state emphasized.
«This figure shows improvement in overall performance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the increased workload. It's important to remind that negotiations weren't actually conducted in 2011," Yevgeny Shevchuk emphasized.
Budget expenditure on the RepOffices is very much different also. The budgeting amounted to 2.8 million Pridnestrovie's rubles (PRB) in 2011, and only 350 thousand PRB in 2015.
