Tiraspol, 10 February. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. On 8 February, Russia's State Duma hosted a meeting between the first deputy chairman of the State Duma committee on CIS, Eurasian integration and compatriots, Kazbek Taysayev, and the Pridnestrovian delegation.
«It is not the first time when we receive the representatives of the biggest Pridnestrovian university: last October the State Duma hosted the exhibition 'Past, Present, Future' dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University," said Kazbek Taysayev.
«This has already become a good tradition, largely thanks to the active participation of both the Pridnestrovian president, Yevgeny Shevchuk, and the leader of the Pridnestrovian Communists, Oleg Khorzhan, who pay great attention to the life and problems of the country's leading scientific and research centre," he added.
According to Russia's Communist Party press service, Kazbek Taysayev also highlighted the assistance which the Federal Agency for CIS affairs — Rossotrudnichestvo — is granting to cooperation with Pridnestrovie.
«Russia's embassy to Moldova has joined in this very important and necessary work, about which we have been informed by the Russian ambassador to Moldova, Farit Mukhametishin," he said.
Kazbek Taysayev said that the State Duma always voted unanimously on the issues relating to Pridnestrovie, without dividing into parties. «This is the only issue on which we always vote unanimously," he underscored.
