Tiraspol, 15 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovie's national payment system is rapidly developing and expanding cooperation with the country's banks and commercial organisations, reports the department of public communications of the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank.
As of today, the NPS includes 21 ATMs, 300 POS-terminals in bank departments and 167 in commercial organisations.
Today Eximbank and Pridnestrovsky Sberbank are full-fledged participants in the NPS. Two more banks, Ipotechny Bank and Tiraspromstroybank, are going to join it soon.
NPS card holders can make payments in any NPS-participant bank, as well as in the commercial organisations which accept NPS cards.
Besides, Pridnestrovie's NPS cards are accepted in Russia' Sberbank Rossii system PRO100, and PRO100 cards are accepted in Pridnestrovie's NPS system.
It was earlier announced that in 2016 the national payment system of the PMR could be integrated with Russia's national system of payment cards. «We will do our best to join not only Russian, but also international payment systems," said Aleksey Kochetov, head of the national payment system department of the PRB.
