Scheduled rotation of Russian peacekeepers begins in Pridnestrovie

The first to be rotated are the military personnel of the Central Security Zone

Scheduled rotation of the peacekeeping battalions of the Russian contingent has begun, Sputnik-Moldova reports with reference to the head of the press service of the Western Military District of Russian Armed Forces colonel Oleg Kochetkov.

The military personnel with authorized armament have moved to the central part of the Security Zone (city of Dubossary) to carry out rotation at the peacekeeping stations.

«The arrived motorized rifle company will entirely replace military personnel at the peacekeeping stations of the Central Security Zone within three days, and it will become a unit of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces," the colonel reported.

The mechanised infantry who carried out peacekeeping mission in the region will go to their permanent base in Tiraspol and will allot the Russian Task Force in Pridnestrovie.
