President receives a delegation from Nagorno-Karabakh Republic

The guests visited Pridnestrovie to take part in the events dedicated to the Pridnestrovie's 25 anniversary

The Pridnestrovie's President received the delegation from the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic including the Secretary-General — the chief of the MFA staff of the NKR Semyon Afiyan, and also the chairman of the Regular Commission of the NKR National Assembly Arthur Tovmasyan, the Presidential Press Office reports.

The guests visited Pridnestrovie to take part in the events dedicated to the 25 anniversary of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The Deputy Prime Minister on International Cooperation — the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski also took part in the meeting.

Yevgeny Shevchuk thanked the delegation for their visit and congratulated the representatives of fraternal people on the Day of Artsakh, i.e. the day of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic creation. A notable fact is that the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic has also celebrated the Independence Day on September 2. «I wish your people progress, prosperity and everlasting peace," Yevgeny Shevchuk told.

During the conversation with representatives form Nagorno-Karabakh, issues concerning the development of partnership between two states were discussed.

«Our two nations have a similar story. We've endured a lot. I am sure that Pridnestrovie will overcome all difficulties because the republic's people want to do good for their country," Semyon Afiyan noted.
