The head of state received the prime minister, Tatyana Turanskaya. They discussed issues surrounding Pridnestrovie's current socio-economic situation, the president's press office reports.
Tatyana Turanskaya announced that over the first six months there had been a considerable decline in payments from a number of major taxpayers. During this period OOO Sheriff failed to pay taxes at an amount of about 150 million roubles, JSC Tirotex over 20 million roubles and JSC TVKZ KVINT about 11 million roubles.
The arrangements for festive events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the republic were also discussed during the meeting.
