Export of Moldova's goods was $341.1 million (69.9% of total amount) decreasing by 5.2% in January-March of this year in comparison with the same period of last year. Re-export amounted to $147.1 million (30.1% of total export amount) decreasing by 31% in Q1, InfoMarket reports.
In general, Moldova's export amounted to $488.2 million in Q12015 reducing by 14.8% in comparison with the same period of 2014.
Export of the Moldova's goods to the CIS countries in January-March, 2015 amounted to $104.1 million reducing by 42.4% in comparison with the same period of the last year. Accordingly, export to Russia decreased by 52.1%, to Ukraine — by 67.4%.
On the contrary, Moldova's export to the European Union increased by 0.3%, or to $320 million, and it decreased to the other states by 12.5%, or to $64.1 million.
The CIS countries' share in Moldova's total export decreased in the mentioned above period from 31.6% to 21.3%, the share of EU countries increased from 55.6% to 65.5%. The share of other countries increased from 12.8% to 13.2%.
