Valeriyan Tulgara: Union of Pridnestrovie's Moldovans stands against the Ukrainian deputies' intentions to denounce the agreement with Russia on military transit to Pridnestrovie

The head of the public delegation commented on the bill introduced in the supreme legislative body of Ukraine

On the eve of May holidays The Ukrainian deputies of the Verkhovna Rada introduced a bill allowing for denunciation of an agreement with the Russian Federation concerning the transit of Russian peacekeepers through the Ukrainian territory. Also, the agreement provided free supply delivery to the Russian troops in our republic.

«For these twenty years, the Pridnestrovie's people, thanks to the Russian peacekeepers together with Pridnestrovie's and Moldova's ones and also military observers from Ukraine, have known only one word — 'peace'. Peace gave us strength to rub through any social and economic difficulties, temporary reduction of pensions and salaries, price and some utility rates increase… Once again, we say that Pridnestrovie protected by the Russian army doesn't carry any threat to anyone. The Russian army also doesn't threaten to the world, serving for peace, standing for peace and keeping peace not only in our republic but also throughout the entire Balkan direction," Valeriyan Tulgara emphasized in the interview to our news agency.

The head of the public association expressed his hope that our Ukrainian neighbors wouldn't dare to denounce that agreement and wouldn't pass the bill introduced in the Verkhovna Rada.
