According to the Head of State, the Russian side during negotiation process consistently stands against the sanctions and other restrictions harming the Pridnestrovie's economy. Beyond that, Russia takes steps to support the Pridnestrovie's economy directly. Also, the sides coordinated the procedures simplifying the Pridnestrovie's production deliveries to the Russian markets.
Also, Yevgeny Shevchuk reminded that, despite the difficult economic situation in the Russian Federation, the country continues implementing the humanitarian projects in Pridnestrovie. «We mustn't ignore the fact that the Russian Federation as the guarantor state fulfills one more important function and it is a peacekeeping operation», he added.
Beyond that, Russia supports its citizens living in Pridnestrovie, there are pensioners among them. The President advised the Pridnestrovians to consult about the details in the Russian consulate.
