President received the JCC cochairman from Pridnestrovie

Oleg Belyakov reported to Evgeny Shevchuk on the current situation in the Security Zone and on some aspects concerning the work of the Joint Control Commission

«The JCC session agenda is overloaded. We have more than 57 questions which make our activity more difficult and don't give a chance to carry out the peacekeeping operation effectively," Oleg Belyakov told.

Within a meeting, the JCC cochairman from Pridnestrovie informed the Head of State on the issues concerning the incidents in the Security Zone including the violation of the Security Zone regulations by the Moldavian party, that is conducting of the joint military training between the Moldova's National Army and the National Guard of the North Carolina (USA).

«It caused a certain concern of the Pridnestrovie's side as there wasn't any notification about the future military exercises. Besides, there was an intrusion into the Security Zone, namely to its central site. It caused a certain response of the Pridnestrovie's side," — the President's Press Office quotes the JCC cochairman from Pridnestrovie.

The Pridnestrovie's delegation in JCC offered all participants of the peacekeeping operation to make a cold assessment of this event.

Oleg Belyakov also emphasized that the peacekeeping forces control the situation in the Security Zone effectively today.

«We don't see any troubles that could result in any conflict situation or armed stand-off today," the JCC cochairman from Pridnestrovie told. «The situation in the Security Zone is stable today, manageable and under control of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces».
