The questions concerning the implementation of the "GTO" ("Ready for Labor and Defense") norms in the republic was discussed in the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Ministry

This question was raised at the meeting with the RISR Dniester-Prut Center's representatives

Besides the diplomatic department's staff headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatyev, the Pridnestrovie's party was represented by the Education Ministry, the Sport State Service, the Pridnestrovie's State University, and also  by the youth civic movement "Star" and "DOSAAF" (Voluntary Association for Assistance to Army, Air Force and Navy) participated in it.

The parties discussed a wide range of questions concerning the "GTO" norms during the dialogue. In particular, as the director of the RISR Dniester-Prut Center Sergey Mokshantsev noted that they talked about the implementation of these norms at the legislative level in Pridnestrovie following the example of the Russian Federation.

"We addressed a corresponding initiative to the Pridnestrovie's President Evgeny Shevchuk; he endorsed it; then the interdepartmental commission was created to study this question for the general law purposes. We are ready to help forward this question," Sergey Mokshantsev emphasized.
