The Agriculture Minister informed on the results of the working visit to the Russian Federation

The Prime Minister Tatyana Turanskaya held a working meeting with the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Andrey Kirsta

"We discussed a number of the topical issues. In particular, there were concrete agreements concerning the agricultural production export to the Russian Federation," Andrey Kirsta noted.

He added that the Russian representatives in the result of the meeting in Bryansk showed a great interest and expressed their readiness to help with the fruits and vegetables deliveries to the Russian markets. Following the results of the meeting, the formal working document on the further cooperation in the promotion of the Pridnestrovie's agricultural products at the Russian market was signed, the Government's Press Service reports.

Andrey Kirsta also told that about 500 tons of Pridnestrovie's apples crossed the customs check point of Bryansk by March, 12.

The representatives of the Russian Federation, according to him, expressed their readiness to render full methodological assistance to the Pridnestrovie's Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources with the latest scientific research and development. Also, the questions of melioration and seed breeding were raised during the working trip. In particular, the possible delivery of the Pridnestrovie's Agricultural Research Institute's seed production to the Russian markets was discussed.

As for the melioration, the Russian representatives are also ready to help by sending the experts for the analysis and the formulation of the system restoration plan. As Andrey Kirsta reported that a similar work was carried out in the territory of some Russian regions before. As a result, the expenditure on the electric power required for the melioration complex was reduced by 30%.

In turn, the Prime Minister noted that the state had paid special attention to the melioration during the recent years. Besides, more than 12 million rubles were allocated to its restoration.

Also, the parties discussed the execution of orders and the current state of this department during the meeting.
