The corresponding agreement was reached between the Pridnestrovie's President and the Moldova's Prime Minister during the meeting
As Evgeny Shevchuk told, the question concerning the free movement of citizens was discussed at the meeting.
"The Pridnestrovie's party advocate for the reduction of restrictive measures. it is important to solve a number of questions for this purpose. This work will be carried out within the expert groups," the Pridnestrovie's President told.
According to him, primarily, the parties agreed to restore the simplified border crossing during the great holidays: the Easter, the Remembrance Sunday and, perhaps, Christmas.
"We agreed that we will evolve these schemes. I think that it is a very positive step," Evgeny Shevchuk told.
Also, the issue concerning the criminal cases initiation against a number of the Pridnestrovie's officials by the Moldova's authorities was discussed.
"We consider that it undermined the negotiation stability seriously because the criminal cases were also initiated against the negotiation groups' heads. Such acts, in our view, are not constructive," Evgeny Shevchuk emphasized. "On our part, we are ready to drop all criminal charges in order to make a serious dialogue on the burning issues possible."
The Head of State hoped that such criminal prosecution will be at least stopped or, maybe, rejected at all.
"In our opinion, we should reject the confrontation in our relations and start making the positive steps to solve the corresponding problems," the Pridnestrovie's President told and added that we had to restart a law enforcement cooperation for fight against crime.
"We consider that murders and robberies should be investigated and criminals should be prosecuted regardless of their location. We agreed that the working groups would also discuss that question," Evgeny Shevchuk concluded.
