The Pridnestrovian Price and Antimonopoly Committee will cooperate with the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service closely

The cooperation between two departments will be carried out by the Cooperation Memorandum signed on July 2, 2014

This process has already started in practice: last week the Pridnestrovian delegation visited Voronezh by the invitation of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Regional Office head. As the PMR Deputy Prime Minister, the Price and Antimonopoly Committee head Vitaly Ulitka told in interview that, first of all, the experience sharing was the main goal of the visit,. "The FAS works more than 15 years in Russia, and their experience will prevent us from the mistakes in the the antitrust laws".

During a number of meetings the Russian and Pridnestrovian experts discussed several subjects, including: the state procurement process, the regulations of the law enforcement cooperation on the antitrust law violations detection, the estimation of the market rivalry situation and the dominant goods categories rating in the market.

There were discussed the current issues of Pridnestrovian gas hook-up rules and the consumers’ gas equipment maintenance during the Advisory Council session concerning the gas market rivalry development.

There was also told about taking preventive actions against the possible antitrust law violations and about the comprehensive documents development concerning the market rivalry. Vitaly Ulitka remarked that the Pridnestrovian authorities were working at these projects, i.e.: the market rivalry development program which can serve as a guideline for the Price and Antimonopoly Committee and for all executive authorities. "This is an important factor which will help to balance this or that market and to develop the rivalry in the future", - the Antimonopoly Committee head concluded.
