The head of state singled out a considerable inflow of investment in the education and healthcare sectors among the republic's main achievements.
"Over the past year we have made a little, but yet a step forward, first of all, in the areas we had declared foreground. This is a considerable investment in the healthcare and education sectors," the president said during a briefing at the celebration of the 24th anniversary of the Republic.
According to him, non-governmental investment in healthcare is 35 times higher than governmental. Besides, taking account of funds invested in this sector by ANO Eurasian Integration, the level of investment has increased by 400 times over the past years.
Yevgeny Shevchuk focused on the effect the investment will bring about after medical facilities are completed.
"We expect some of these facilities to be finished by the end of the year, and the rest, the next year. We must form a decent living environment for Pridnestrovians," concluded the president.
