Tiraspol, August, 5. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev met with the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Claus Neukirch.
As part of the discussion, the parties conducted a detailed analysis of the current situation in the dialogue between Pridnestrovie and Moldova and discussed some prospects for further progress. Particular attention was paid to the problems of telecommunications, criminal cases, vehicles and banking interaction.
The PMR Foreign Ministry press service noted that the Pridnestrovian side outlined the inadmissibility of unbalancing dialogue and attempts to generate tension, confirming interest in resolving practical problems within the framework of an agreed negotiation space.
In particular, an interest was expressed in the intensification of specialized expert (working) groups activities with active international participation and the willingness to hold meetings of representatives on political issues and the “Permanent Meeting ...” in the “5 + 2” format was confirmed.
