Meeting of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky with the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, co-chairman of the Russian-Moldovan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation Dmitry Patrushev took place in the capital of the Russian Federation. The discussion was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dzhambulat Hatuov, Head of the Federal Service of the Russian Federation for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Sergey Dankvert, as well as Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Maxim Markovich. The Pridnestrovian side was also represented at the meeting by the PMR Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev.
The current dialogue in Moscow continued the working discussion opened during the visit to Pridnestrovie of the Russian delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak. Today, the parties discussed in detail the various aspects of trade and economic cooperation between Pridnestrovie and the Russian Federation. Opening the meeting, Dmitry Patrushev expressed the hope that the frequency of bilateral contacts will fully contribute to the qualitative development of cooperation in the core area. They talked about the work of the Russian-Moldovan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation. The meeting participants agreed that such interaction should be substantive and lead to concrete practical results.
Special attention was paid to the integrated project for the restoration of the reclamation complex of Pridnestrovie, which has been implemented in recent years. Vadim Krasnoselsky conveyed to the Russian side a number of specific appeals aimed at developing cooperation and implementing joint initiatives. Representatives of the parties responsible for maintaining the systemic dialogue on the agricultural line are identified. At the end of the discussion, the participants highly appreciated the constructive nature of the meeting and agreed to maintain a high dynamic of bilateral contacts.
