Bendery, March, 10. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. It was a great celebration of Maslenitsa in Aleksandro-Nevsky Park in Bendery. There were several thousands of guests including the President of the PMR with family. There were buffoons with entertainments and congratulations at the entrance.
On-stage performance groups sang songs in the Russian, Ukrainian and Moldavian languages in the territory of the Park, traditional Pancake week games and entertainments were held, the Presidential Press Service reports.
Vadim Krasnoselsky visited a thematic exhibition of the creative works devoted to Maslenitsa. Its exhibits are made hands of teachers and pupils of educational institutions of Bendery. Everyone this day could taste pancakes and participate in master classes in the painting of nested dolls, production of a mini-effigy of Maslenitsa and also making wool toys.
