Tiraspol, February, 5. / Novosti Pridnestrovya /. The Head of Official Representation of the PMR in the Russian Federation Leonid Manakov met the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Russian Federation Igor Akhba. The meeting took place by the invitation of the Abkhazian side in Embassy of Abkhazia, the Press Service of the Foreign Ministry of the PMR specifies.
Leonid Manakov congratulated Igor Akhba on the anniversary and also transferred to the ambassador a message of greeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev.
«For many years you methodically and responsibly work for the good of protection of foreign policy interests of Apsna and also strengthening of the authority of the country abroad. In our countries, there are common strategic objectives, understanding of political tasks and state priorities. It is confident that in the future we are expected many successful joint projects», – it was noted in congratulation of the Foreign Minister of the PMR.
During the communication, Leonid Manakov and Igor Akhba also discussed a wide range of topical issues of bilateral cooperation of Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie.
At the end of the meeting of the parties agreed to continue working contacts in all directions which are of mutual interest in the context of the development of the Pridnestrovian-Abkhazian interaction.
