Tiraspol, 3 April. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnesrovie counts on Russia's support in its dialogue with Moldova, Pridnestrovian President said during a meeting in Russia's Federation Council.
According to him, the most difficult question is to sit down at the negotiating table and find mutual understanding. As Vadim Krasnoselsky pointed out, Pridnestrovie has an exceptionally defensive doctrine, and Tiraspol is set to develop normal confidential relations with both Moldova and Ukraine.
"It is impossible and catastrophic [to act] otherwise in our circumstances. Therefore, of course, we are counting on the support of the Russian side and, of course, the Federation Council and the State Duma," Russia's RIA Novosti quotes Vadim Krasnoselsky as saying.
Earlier the presidentdeclared that Tiraspol supported the idea of holding a meeting in the "5 +2" format in Rome in May.
