Tiraspol, 30 July. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Russia's vice premier and presidential representative on Pridnestrovie, Dmitry Rogozin, said on Russia 24 that he was planning to meet Pridnestrovian President Vadim Krasnoselsky in August.
He also noted that he would meet Moldovan President Igor Dodon on 4 August at the inauguration of the Iranian president in Tehran. «Of course, we'll have a serious talk; we need clear guarantees that can ensure a normal dialogue," said Rogozin.
He said that in a week he was planning to meet Pridnestrovian President Vadim Krasnoselsky. In the interview, Rogozin highlighted the importance of resuming dialogue between Moldova and Pridnestrovie, calling it Russia's main objectives in the region.
According to Rogozin, this must be done primarily for the benefit of ordinary people. «These are transit issues, related to blockade attempts," he said, noting that Moldova and Ukraine had imposed that blockade.
In general, according to Rogozin, there is a need to deal with the economic rights of people living in Pridnestrovie, including 200 thousand Russian citizens.
«I would like to take this opportunity to say that if a single hair falls from the head of a Russian citizen, the answer will be very harsh," underlined Rogozin.
