55,693 Russian residents vote in PMR

83,2% of the voters were in favour of the United Russia party

Tiraspol, 19 September. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Around 55,693 Russian citizens took part in Russia's State Duma election.

83.3% of the voters who came to the polls supported the United Russia party, the website of the central election commission reports. United Russia candidates won by a big margin in the single-seat constituencies formed in Pridnestrovie as well. Among them are Sergey Neverov, Sergey Chizhov, Alexey Silanes, Mikhail Isaev, Vasily Maksimov, Nikolay Wrestlers, Oleg Kankov. Whether these candidates will become State Duma members will be known after 100% of ballots are counted in the Russian Federation.
