Tiraspol, 30 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. At the initiative of the Pridnestrovie's side, the meeting of expert (working) groups on issues of railway transportation took place at OSCE Mission office in Chisinau on 30 March, 2016.
An offer to organize working expert consultations was voiced by Vitaly Ignatyev at the meeting with the political agent from Moldova Georgy Belan on March 3, 2016.
As the Foreign Ministry's press service notes, on February 26 of the current year the Pridnestrovie's side in furtherance of the agreements reached at the level of subject matter experts submitted to the RM comprehensive offers cooperatively prepared at the level the Pridnestrovie's Foreign Ministry, the SCC and the Pridnestrovian Railway.
The specified draft documents include, in particular, a fully canvassed interaction mechanism between the administrations of the Moldova's and Pridnestrovie's railways providing delivery of the import frights to the Pridnestrovie's economic agents in the mode of maximum economic and logistic benefit.
«In turn within a today meeting, the Moldovan side has laid down obviously impossible political conditions actually blocking a chance to achieve any mutually advantageous decision on the matter. Also, the RM representatives have refused to continue the dialogue current week so this issue taking into account urgency of the discussed perspective doesn't provide an opportunity for a timely mutually acceptable decision. The Pridnestrovie's side assumes that the actions of Moldovan representatives have raised up risks of possible railway crisis which can impact both the Moldavan side and other states using transport infrastructure of the Pridnestrovian Raylway," the Foreign Ministry emphasizes.
Nevertheless, the Pridnestrovie's side confirms its openness and pursuance of a practical agreement on railway transportation which are possible only in case of rapprochement between the sides and readiness for mutual compromises.
