Business patent duration extended by three years

Supreme Council adopts a government bill on extension of business patent duration

Tiraspol, 9 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. By a solid vote, the Supreme Council MPs passed a government bill extending individual business patent from one to three years.

The exception will be weekend and holiday patents and also farming patents.

At the same time, according to the Finance Ministry's offer, the terms of the monthly patent payment were also extended. If the individual entrepreneur misses the payment deadline, he has a right to pay the patent within the first week of the next month, but at the same time he has to expalin the delay in writing.

The MPs agreed with the Finance Minister Irina Molokanova that the offered mechanism would allow to refuse from practice when the revenue service filed a new patent if the businessman had been late with the payment, because in this case the budget receives less tax revenue and several days drop out of the businessmen's time in employment.

The law will come into effect when it is signed by the President.
