«We are watching the political aggravation in Kishinev and see what may happen if the parliament is run by a small group of people. I believe that the oligarchial control over the Supreme Council must be excluded in Pridnestrovie," said the head of state.
He also noted that now a number of MPs are fraudulently promising to pay pensions and salaries in full volume.
«The facts show this is a deception. In 9 months of 2015 the budget received 857 million roubles for the provision of pensions, whereas pensions were paid at an amount of 1.435 billion roubles. The country borrowed about 600 million roubles for paying current pensions," stated the president.
Yevgeny Shevchuk also mentioned that deputies had not approved in due time a number of draft laws submitted by the government and the president for stabilising the economic situation. Among the required reforms are the Tax Code, antimonopoly law, anti-crisis laws, which have been under consideration for years, and the offshore duty law.
«I had to introduce the latter with a presidential decree, which has resulted in a 10% increase in payments! If these laws had been approved in due time, the arrears issue would not have emerged!» underscored Yevgeny Shevchuk, adding that it is ahead of the elections when a number of candidates, including acting MPs, are generating conflicts between people and creating hostility in the society.
«Do you want to be represented by those who are bringing negative agenda to your homes, those who are tricking you into voting for them?» asks the president.
According to him, Pridnestrovians are reasonable people who realise that owing to the lack of necessary revenues the budget cannot pay real money out of nothing.
«Amid the crisis and external pressure, our citizens understand who are behind the wave of negative information, who have been sheltering themselves behind such 'candidates' and managing them in the past five years. I am in favour of paying pensions and salaries in full volume. This requires working enterprises and tax revenues," summarised the president.
