The Russian guests led by Nikolai Serdtsev shared their impressions of the meetings with Pridnestrovie's veterans and spoke about the lectures and classes on patriotism that were held in Pridnestrovian State University and a number of schools across Pridnestrovie.
«We made sure that Pridnestrovie's spirit is very high. We are glad to see veterans, who have aged, but are still real patriots at heart. We have delivered sets of books to every school. We will also donate books to the libraries so that veteran's grand- and great grandchildren could learn the truth about the events which took place 70 years ago," said Russian Colonel-General Nikolai Serdtsev.
The president expressed gratitude to the Russian delegation for their contribution to the patriotic education of Pridnestrovie's youth.
Nikolai Serdtsev presented Yevgeniy Shevchuk with an anniversary token and a medal «70 years to the victory in the Great Patriotic War» from the All-Russian Public Armed Forces Veterans Organisation and the All-Russian Veterans Organisation.
The colonel-general congratulated the Pridnestrovian president and in his person all residents of Pridnestrovie on the oncoming Victory Day and wished «kindness, happiness, prosperity and great contribution to the further development of Pridnestrovie.»
