Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the British Ambassador

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Her Majesty the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Steven Fisher at the presidential executive office. The event was planned and it is of current working nature. The goal is to exchange information and opinions on topical issues of the bilateral agenda, as well as on topics of mutual interest. It includes the course of the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the importance of participation of Great Britain in it – despite the fact that the United Kingdom is not part of the "5 + 2" format.

The interlocutors discussed issues from the Berlin+ agenda and the prospects for implementation of existing agreements. “It is important for us to understand your opinion on this matter. It is difficult to make plans for the future and talk about issues on the current agenda without fulfillment of the previously signed agreements”, said Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The British diplomat, in turn, emphasized that it is important for the UK to understand the current situation, history and development of such a long conflict, and they consider that without personal conversation with all parties, they would not be able to understand the essence and reasons of what is happening.

Having discussed all the issues of the jointly formed agenda of today's meeting, the participants agreed to continue the working dialogue in a constructive manner.
