Tiraspol, March 24. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a meeting of the department leadership and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, Claus Neukirch.
The participants discussed the current situation in the negotiation process with special emphasis on the problems of interaction in the road transport sector. The Pridnestrovian side stressed that any restrictive measures in relation to cars with Pridnestrovian license plates were unacceptable. Also, Pridnestrovian diplomats called for the early progress in resolving problematic aspects that impede the effective functioning of vehicle registration points.
Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev recalled the draft Protocol Decision on registration of vehicles of cargo and passenger transport operators in vehicle registration points, which had previously been sent by Pridnestrovie, and the need to resolve this topical issue.
Along with this, some other aspects of the Berlin + package were touched upon, including banking issues.
