Tiraspol, September 3. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A series of geopolitical upheavals, political and economic trials have shaped a special Pridnestrovian character. This was stated by the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky in an interview about the Pridnestrovian people.
"The war of 1992, the economic crisis, coupled with other crises. The pandemic, the gas crisis, and so on. The multinational Pridnestrovian people are a seasoned people. They are steel. They have stood firm and will stand firm, I have no doubt about it, and those who counted on some kind of upheaval to destroy, break, make afraid, cut this people apart, they are mistaken," Vadim Krasnoselsky said.
The President recalled that one of the main achievements of the Pridnestrovians is the absence of interethnic strife in a multinational country.
"We have official languages: Russian, Ukrainian, Moldovan. But, you are welcome to speak any language, develop any traditions, any craft, form your own literature, your own history, your own art. You are welcome! We as a state will only support these initiatives. There are schools with Russian as the language of instruction, with Moldovan as the language of instruction, with Ukrainian as the language of instruction. And we are developing these traditions, the history of these peoples,” Vadim Krasnoselsky noted.
