Tiraspol, July 31. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The decree on the extension of economic emergency in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic’s territory was signed by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky.
The document was published on the official website of the head of state.
The term of such special legal regime (the economic emergency situation) is proposed to be extended throughout the Pridnestrovie until August 31, 2025.
The decision was made due to the ongoing emergency economic situation. It was caused by the reduction of natural gas supplies to the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and, as a consequence, the severe general economic crisis appeared. The re-establishing of necessary conditions for the state’s viability as well as ensuring essential human needs is progressed by such crisis.
The decree has been sent to the PMR Supreme Council for approval.
