The President in the course of the video conference was informed by heads of state administrations about the state of affairs in the cities and districts of the republic. Vadim Krasnoselsky gave current instructions, outlined priority tasks and plans for the future.
The customs point "Bendery-Chisinau" activity was among the topics discussed at the meeting. The customs checkpoint is busy. The issue of equipping an additional lane remains open. Vadim Krasnoselsky will soon hold an off-site meeting to discuss technical aspects on site.
The problem raised by the head of Bendery is the reclamation of the old solid waste landfill. The event was postponed due to a lack of funds, but this work must be carried out as soon as possible, Roman Ivanchenko noted. The city bears the costs of protecting the site. They noted at the meeting that it is unsafe to leave unattended the city landfill which is full.
Another delicate but significant topic that was raised in connection with the incoming requests from citizens is the arrangement of hygiene rooms in schools. The state allocates funds for the repair of toilets. Toilets were located outside the educational buildings in some educational institutions in rural areas. They referred to it at the meeting as remnants of the past. Toilets are being moved into school buildings. Outdoor toilets are isolated cases, and there should be no more of them, the President emphasized. He drew attention to another aspect at the same time: there are schools in which toilets are not boxed. The absence of parting walls is unacceptable, the head of the country considers. The heads have been instructed to collect information on this matter in all educational institutions and take measures to create normal conditions in school hygiene rooms.
They will discuss the topic in the course of the working meeting with the head of the capital's state administration today, which was raised during the video conference. We are talking about the request of Tiraspol residents and guests of the city to resume the movement of trolleybus No. 1 from the railway station. The electric transport has not been running on its usual route for about six months according to the information voiced.
The issue of postponing the date of the ceremonial lighting of the New Year's lights on the main city tree is being considered, based on the request of the capital's residents. The state administration of Tiraspol announced that the festive event will be held on Thursday, December 5. The President recommended listening to the opinion of the city residents and choosing another evening for the cultural event. Friday, Saturday or Sunday – it will be announced additionally.
