Meeting of the PMR President with representatives of Pridnestrovian youth took place in the conference hall of the presidential executive office. Fifty young people representing towns and districts of the republic received invitations. Each of them has an impressive list of achievements in their portfolios – studies, sports, creativity, public activities. Schoolchildren, students, pupils of Suvorov Military College, cadets, volunteers, representatives of the PMR Youth Parliament and the "Heirs of Victories" movement were among the invitees. Vadim Krasnoselsky welcoming the guests expressed confidence that there are many more talented young people in Pridnestrovie than the conference hall can accommodate. The President emphasized that such communication is valuable to him, "If you are interested in how the President works, then I am interested in how the youth lives". The meeting was held in a dialogue format. There were not only questions, but also proposals. Some of them will form the basis of presidential instructions.
For example, there was an idea to hold an annual gathering of creative youth. Vadim Krasnoselsky supported the initiative. The Dnestrovskie Zori (the Dniester Dawn) complex was proposed as a venue. It is possible that participants of the Heirs of Victories movement will gather there every year. Another proposal was to create a nationwide art space, that is an institution where creative youth would gather and create. There was a question about creating an IT center. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that there is one in the project. They plan to use an idle three-story building on the embankment for a youth facility in Bendery. According to the plan, the upper floor will be allocated specifically for classes in the field of modern technologies, the second floor will house fitness and sports halls, and the lower floor is indicated in the project as a boxing and kickboxing center. Many young people thanked for the already created sports infrastructure in various parts of the republic. There was a proposal to revive the practice of opening sports classes in separate areas in comprehensive schools. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that such experience exists. Football players have been gathered in a separate class in Rybnitsa in particular. The President noted that he considers it necessary to focus on the development of family sports – to promote joint activities. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that it is important not only to encourage, but also to create conditions at the same time.
Several questions were related to financial support for talented youth. Sportsmen and artists asked whether there were plans for a state program to finance trips of Pridnestrovian children to international competitions and events. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that there is no such item in the 2025 budget. So far, funds are allocated from various sources as much as possible.
They talked in the course of the meeting about the construction of a new building of the Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. They mentioned the repairs and global reconstructions of memorial complexes carried out in cities and villages. They asked the President when he played the accordion, which he learned at the Bendery music school. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that he accompanied the large Krasnoselsky family when they sang Victory songs on May 9 of this year.
The President was asked how he feels about criticism and artificial intelligence, what books he reads, what historical figures he finds most interesting, what qualities are characteristic of a leader, what it means to be established, how he spends his free time, how many hours a day he sleeps, whether he does morning exercises and whether he watches the president's address to the people on New Year's Eve. They were interested in what childhood hobbies have remained relevant in adulthood. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that sports and fishing have always been and remain in his life, stamp collecting is an exclusively youthful hobby, and breeding aquarium fish brings joy to this day.
