Pridnestrovie remembers and mourns

The 19th of June is the Day of the Tragedy in Bendery. 32 years already now and forever. The Pridnestrovian people remember the treacherous invasion of a peaceful city by the armed forces of Moldova, and will not forget about the hundreds of dead and missing. The victims of Moldovan aggression and the defenders who gave their lives defending Bendery were remembered by name today. Funeral events are taking place throughout Pridnestrovie. The day began with memorial services in all churches of the republic. They prayed for the repose of the souls of those who died in 1992 in the Church of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky. The service was conducted by Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Sawa. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky participated in the prayer service.
