Tiraspol, January 23. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Some details of the story of the deportation of the chairman of the Tiraspol City Court, Anna Mamei, have become known. The information was published by Sputnik Moldova with reference to the Russian embassy.
Anna Konstantinovna was on a private trip to St. Petersburg, where her daughter lives. On the way back, they refused to let her into Moldova, took away her Pridnestrovian passport and informed her about deportation to Yerevan as an intermediate point of her journey.
Anna Mamei's request to be sent to St. Petersburg was refused, saying that then she would have to live in the transit zone for a week. In response to her warning that she did not agree to fly to the capital city of Armenia, she was threatened that she would be taken on the plane in handcuffs with the use of force. The SIB representative recommended her to tell her Pridnestrovian colleagues that the same fate awaited them all.
The Pridnestrovian passport of Anna Mamei was taken away by the Moldovan SIS officers. Her Russian passport was returned to her only in Yerevan by Armenian border guards.
The Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry called Moldova’s actions a gross violation of universal human rights and freedoms, leading to an escalation of tension.
