2024 was declared by presidential decree the Year of Family and Family Values in Pridnestrovie. An action plan corresponding to the theme has been developed on behalf of the PMR President. The responsible agency is the Ministry of Social Protection and Labor. Many ministries, departments, services, state administrations of cities and regions of the republic, as well as public organizations were involved in the formation of the program, according to Elena Kulichenko. About eight dozen events are planned. Work will be continued and intensified to provide housing for orphans, implement subsidy and lending programs for young families to purchase their own apartments and houses.
Various cultural, educational, educational, preventive, and sporting events are being prepared in the areas of “Family and Society”, “Family and Health”, “Family and Charity”, “Family and Culture”, “Family Sports and Recreation”.
Funding is expected from various sources. Funds for the implementation of 25 events will be allocated from the republican treasury, another 10 will be carried out at the expense of local budgets. It was noted in the course of the meeting that many items of the annual program will not require significant costs, but this does not detract from their importance.
