Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie: To replenish its budget, Moldova is robbing Pridnestrovie

The customs duties that the Moldovan authorities force Pridnestrovian enterprises to pay will go to the budget of the Republic of Moldova, the head of the Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie noted

Tiraspol, January 10. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The customs duties that the Moldovan authorities force Pridnestrovian enterprises to pay will go to the budget of the Republic of Moldova, recalled the chairman of the Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie Yuri Cheban.

“What does the budget of the Republic of Moldova have to do with guarantees of social security for the population of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic? None. That is, this is direct robbery by Moldova,” Yuri Cheban said in an interview with the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel.

Let us remind you that in January of this year, Moldova began to collect compulsorily customs duties on goods imported by business entities of Pridnestrovie. For them, this means paying double payments: to the PMR budget and to the budget of Moldova. According to preliminary estimates, Pridnestrovie's losses will amount to tens of millions of dollars a year.
