Vadim Krasnoselsky: Moldova violates the rights of Pridnestrovians

The President of the PMR commented on the forced collection of customs duties by Chisinau from Pridnestrovian companies

Tiraspol, January 5. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Vadim Krasnoselsky called the introduction of customs duties by Moldova for Pridnestrovian enterprises a violation of human rights. According to the President of the PMR, the authorities of the neighboring state took the path of the weak when they refused negotiations and decided to take measures that would harm ordinary residents of Pridnestrovie.

“I want to remind you that taxes form the local budget, and the local budget pays for all social obligations. And in 33 years, already in its fourth decade, there are no other formulas and there will not be any here in Pridnestrovie. Therefore, this is not a victory, this is a defeat, your moral defeat,” Vadim Krasnoselsky said in an address to the Moldovan authorities.

Vadim Krasnoselsky called on the Moldovan authorities not to take the path of escalation and return to negotiations.

“Only negotiations can solve certain problems. And to introduce restrictions treacherously without warning is a blow to the entire population of Pridnestrovie,” the President of the PMR said.

Let us recall that from January 1, Moldova began to impose customs duties on goods imported into the PMR by economic agents of Pridnestrovie. Thus, Pridnestrovian enterprises were actually under the pressure of double customs duties.
