The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky held a meeting with the leaders of the PMR Government, the Supreme Council, as well as the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Finance and the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance. Work on the draft budget 2024 was discussed.
The President noted that this year work on the main financial document is proceeding in a calm atmosphere. Vadim Krasnoselsky spoke about constructive interaction between the legislative and executive branches of government when working on next year’s draft budget. “The government at its level was able to develop a consolidated decision on many issues. All of them have already been agreed upon with the relevant committee and other committees of the Supreme Council”, the PMR President emphasized.
The Government Chairman said that the 2024 budget will be balanced, with almost all expenses covered by corresponding revenues.
Consideration of the law-in-draft in the first reading is scheduled for November 15, which corresponds to the standards for work on the draft main financial document.
