Tiraspol, October 17. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The permanent exhibition of archaeological artifacts will continue to be located in the exhibition auditorium of the Catherine Park. The decision on this was made at an extended meeting with the President of the PMR, which was dedicated to the creation of the Pridnestrovian State Museum.
As the press service of the head of the state noted, it was initially assumed that the finds of Pridnestrovian archaeologists would be exhibited there temporarily. However, interest in the exhibition does not dry up. Therefore, it was decided not to change the location of this exhibition. Thus, the museum quarter will stretch from the park exhibition auditorium to the Tiraspol fortress.
Let us remind you that the exhibition “Archaeological Heritage of Pridnestrovie. Scythian Culture" in the exhibition pavilion of the Catherine Park was opened at the end of August 2021. It displays hundreds of different items - including utensils, weapons, gold and silver jewelry. The oldest of the exhibits were made about 5 thousand years ago.
