The President was informed by the heads of state administrations about the state of affairs on the ground in the course of traditional working meeting at the beginning of the week. The aspects that needed discussion and additional decisions were highlighted. The PMR President has given current instructions. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about progress in the implementation of programs related to the development of social infrastructure. The repair and construction work planned for this year at most facilities has been completed or at the final stage.
The speakers spoke about past and planned cultural events. Increased attention was paid to teachers and representatives of the older generation – they were celebrated everywhere last week. Open areas were actively used as long as the weather permitted, where festivals, competitions, concerts, and entertainment and sports competitions were held. Mass races were organized in Rybnitsa and Tiraspol in the reporting week. It was more modest in the north of the republic – there were several dozen participants. About two thousand people covered the chosen distance from the proposed distances in the capital. The cultural life of Bendery was eventful last week. The city celebrated the anniversary widely. Not only the program was varied, but the weather during the holidays as well. Residents of Bendery and guests of the birthday city actively participated in all events despite the sharp cold snap on Sunday. None of events have been cancelled, the mayor said. Vadim Krasnoselsky thanked Roman Ivanchenko, the Bendery administration and everyone who was involved in organizing and holding the celebrations. The President addressed words of gratitude to all services that ensured the timely completion of repair work on objects that are significant for residents of Bendery – Sovetskaya and Panina streets, as well as Oktyabrsky Park. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about future plans. The landscaping of the area around the House of Culture named after Pavel Tkachenko is now being completed, and Industrialnaya Street is being renovated. Public gardens in the Khomutyanovka and Lipkany microdistricts are on the waiting list.
The capital is preparing to celebrate City Day next Saturday. The program of events is not designed for one day. The finishing touches are being made to it, the Head of State was informed.
The meeting participants talked about preparations for the nationwide voluntary Saturday work scheduled for the 11th of November. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that the emphasis should be on landscaping settlements. He recalled the current norm requiring the planting of two trees instead of one eliminated. The PMR President recommended increasing the number of conifers that provide all-season green decoration for populated areas. They talked about New Year trees, which will be installed or decorated growing in early December.
Preparation for the heating season was among the general issues that were discussed in the course of the video conference. The heads of cities and districts of the republic spoke about checking networks and eliminating identified problems. According to the Minister of Economic Development Sergei Obolonik, the heating system will be launched based on temperature indicators. According to preliminary plans, this will happen closer to the end of this month. Heating will be provided first in social institutions, then in residential buildings as before.
