Vadim Krasnoselsky invited to the conversation the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media and his deputy, who oversees the work of the media, the head of the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage, as well as the editor-in-chief of the state television channel. They discussed how things are with the dissemination of information about Pridnestrovie, coverage of the activities of the creative teams of the republic, popularization of the history, culture, traditions of the multinational Pridnestrovian people. The President asked about the fulfillment of the instructions that were given following his recent meeting with workers in the field of culture and art. They discussed the list of equipment and musical instruments for the purchase of which a request was received. Vadim Krasnoselsky was interested in how the mechanism of interdepartmental interaction and informing the media and the public about the planned and held mass cultural and creative events, the achievements of groups and artists representing various creative directions was built. Plans for the current year and the medium term were discussed. It was noted that citizens prefer landscaped open areas, which are becoming more and more in the republic. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the intimacy of holding events is not always justified. Approaches to the organization of concerts, festivals, theatrical performances must meet the modern demands of society; the presentation of information about the cultural life of the country should also correspond to current trends, the President noted. During the discussion, the joint projects of the state service on culture, creative teams and specialized institutions with the media were mentioned. We are talking, for example, about recording television versions of concerts, films about historical places and people who deserve special attention, filling in a recently created specialized website about Pridnestrovie, which was called the "Historical Portal".
Vadim Krasnoselsky recommended increasing cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Development, the State service for Culture and the Media. A joint meeting will be held to develop an optimal model for effective cooperation.
