The MFA of the PMR sent appeals to the Secretary General and the UN Security Council, as well as to the 5 + 2 format participants

All of them are related to the prevention of terrorist attack

Tiraspol, March 10. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. On behalf of the President of Pridnestrovie Vadim Krasnoselsky, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR sent official appeals to the Ukrainian Embassy in Moldova, the Secretary General and permanent UN Security Council members, as well as participants of  the 5 + 2 negotiation format. All of them are related to the prevention of terrorist attack in early March against the leadership and civilians of Pridnestrovie.

As reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the appeal to the Ukrainian Embassy, “assistance was requested in demanding relevant clarifications from the Ukrainian authorities.” Recall that, according to the law enforcement agencies of Pridnestrovie, the terrorist attack in the republic was planned by the Security Service of Ukraine.

In a letter sent on behalf of the President of the PMR to the permanent UN Security Council members, it is proposed to initiate a discussion of the prevented terrorist attack at the UN platform in order to further agree on "effective international measures to reduce tension and ensure the safety of all residents of Pridnestrovie."

UN Secretary General António Guterres was asked to pay personal attention to the current situation around the PMR.

The Pridnestrovian side, in turn, invited the international participants in the 5 + 2 format to condemn terrorist means and intensify practical efforts to prevent the destruction of the peaceful dialogue.
