Tiraspol, December 19 / Novosti Pridnestrovya/ The current week, specialists will begin activities to the commencement of the new contracts’ conclusion for the natural gas supply, the electricity generation, and realization outside the republic. This was discussed during a video conference with the state authorities and administration’s heads, which was held by the PMR President.
According to the head of state press service, Vadim Krasnoselsky stressed that he considers it correct to study the issue in advance and conduct preliminary consultations.
The theme of pricing policy was also touched upon by the President, who also mentioned statements of several Moldovan politicians about the allegedly high cost of electricity generated in Pridnestrovie. According to the current agreements, the Moldavskaya HES supplies electricity to Moldova at 73 dollars per megawatt, while more recently the neighboring republic purchased it from Romania at a price of about 400 euros. The above-mentioned officials weren’t outraged by its unsubstantiated cost, Vadim Krasnoselsky reminded. Such a price is formed on the exclusively economic calculations basis, the Pridnestrovian state head emphasized.
