The Wittgenstein Park reconstruction is under control of the President

The program of today's working visit of the PMR President to Kamenka district includes a visit to Wittgenstein Park. Vadim Krasnoselsky personally controls the transformation of an object that is significant for the townspeople and guests of Kamenka, considering it not only leisure, but also historical.

More than 10 million rubles have been allocated for the restoration of the park in stages since 2019. The largest amount of work and the bulk of funding came in 2021. In general, an entrance arch, a gazebo and a rotunda were erected, a fence was installed, bridges and a stage were repaired, a children's playground and a rollerdrome were equipped, a pumping station and a pipeline from the Dniester to the lakes planned for restoration were built, new benches and bins were installed throughout the park, landscaping work was carried out during the implementation of the project. Paving slabs cover 8400 square meters of paths and walking areas. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the preserved historical elements, noting that he welcomes such an approach. The renovation of the park is ongoing. It is important at the same time that it has not been closed for a single day for visitors, whose number is growing. The park, created by the founder of Kamenka, is interesting for both local residents and guests of the city.
